So I signed up for the HRC’s texting thingy (yes you know I like those technical terms.) Anyway, I got a text today and it was soooo simple to take action is was insane.

Here’s all ya do to show your support for EDNA:

1) Text the word SIGN to the number 30644

That’s it. It’s that simple. That will show that you are signing a petition to support EDNA, which is the federal bill that will add sexual orientation and gender identity to employment discrimination. So, of course, you can’t be fired for being gay or transgendered, etc.

It’s real simple to take action this way…even my grandmom did it! She texted me back asking how to do it. I explained how and she still didn’t get it so she called me and I walked her through it. She got an immediate text back thanking her and she said: “Oh my GOD, I just got a text back right away saying thank you. Boy that’s fast. I’ll tell my friends how to do this too and make them do it.” lol she was so cute.

So go ahead and take 10 seconds out of your day and take action. You’ll feel like you’ve done something positive for your rights today!
