If you wanted to vote for Hillary Clinton…
Ok so you wanted Hillary Clinton to win. But she didn’t. If you are so crazy that you want to now vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin because Hillary didn’t win then I ask you to please take 2 minutes out of your life to read the following article by Gloria Steinem.
This article will explain to you the difference between McCain/Palin vs Clinton (and now, Obama.)
For the sake of our country and all of the gay and lesbian individuals in this country, please read this article.

I am a long term democrat, who voted for Hillary she lost .
With all barack speechs, and his in experience, He talk how
How to fix the Economy & job, & school but he doesn’t but has not talked about what he going to do, all he does is talk about the economy, talk about calling the kettle black, he is not the man for the job, and that is why I will not vote for him

I’m sure we’ll get some comments on this one. Tammy all I can say is if you plan on voting for McCain in November then I certainly hope that you are heterosexual woman who is rich (i.e. making $5 million or more a year lol or so that’s what McCain calls the rich.) Because if you are both those things then I think life will only get better for you if McCain gets into the white house, because after all “the economy is financially sound.” Right?

Lynn,
So if you aren’t voting for Obama who are you voting for? That is a very sad thing that you can not vote for a man that wants to help our children and change our system. McCain will just continue the failed Bush policies that treat a decent education as a privelige not an expectation! I encourage you to go to Barack’s website and read about his plan for education and helping the teachers help our children. Does the No Child Left Behind policy that Bush created do your children any good? It is a horrible program that limits teachers instead of helping them! Here is the link to his web page on education. http://www.barackobama.com/issues/education/

Correction…Above I meant to say “the economy is FUNDAMENTALLY sound.” So McCain says anyway…..

Sorry I addressed you by your middle name. I meant Tammy Lynn

Barack is the most qualified man for the job who is running for the presidency. Hillary is not on the ticket; she knows the deal; she is backing Barack for a REASON. I don’t know if “Tammy Lynn” is even a democrat, she might be a republican in sheeps clothing!

If you go around assuming that Clinton supporters backing McCain need you to help “explain the difference” between the candidates you’re going to get an audience at best amused and at worst (and most likely) even more pissed off and offended than they started out.
Most of these voters know exactly what’s up. This is about issues, but not the particular issues those objecting to our choice like to look at. It’s easy to say “you’re not looking at the issues” when you pick and choose what matters, ignoring the very real “issues” on which other’s base their decision.
We see this whole fiasco differently. Taking away someone’s voice is arguably one of the worst and most dangerous actions, and that’s what was done to Hillary Clinton and her supporters. For most white democrats being called a racist is every bit as bad as being called a pedophile. One disagreement with The Way and you are so labeled and torn to shreds.
Why would people associate with those who sought to dehumanize them? Why would you reward such behavior? From the campaign, the media, the supporters.
I’m a first generation immigrant lesbian atheist in an mixed race relationship with someone who had to move here from another country. I’ve faced government anti-gay policies standing in the way of my happiness. I’ve faced religious bigotry. And I’ve lived in places where I rarely saw another person who looked anything like me. Hell, I’ve had racial slurs hurled at me 4 times in a 20 minute walk down the street. Alone among millions. I’ve felt many sides of acceptance and hatred.
But to be attacked and dehumanized from within my own party which I have supported my whole adult life?. To see that as the model for the new establishment?
Screw it. I can see why women in the middle ground are joining the Republicans. They have their voice. And yes, they have more respect than they received in the last year. Hell, I’ve had more respect in the last year from the many Republicans I know than the Obama wing of the democratic party.
So I’ll vote all down-ticket Democrats, and I won’t be joining the Republican Party. But I’ll be damned if I’ll support the Obama machine. And no one’s condescending assumption that I don’t understand who or what McCain or his running mate are is going to stop me.
